2 hour hunt at pounded park with a friend in an out of the way area yielded the most consistent 00 27 I have ever seen. This reading refused to budge from any direction or in pinpoint. Must have been laying flat. Only about 4" deep. Also found a few wheaties in the hard pan. Sure wish it was seated or flowing!

thanks for looking

Aaron

finding a 64 Kennedy Half is a great feat to have done. Sure.....it's not that Old but how many of these Halves will you find that will be the 64 Kennedy? I doubt any due to the short run for this Coin due to the only year made without Clad being added. I'd be more than happy if I found that one since it's a hard one to get and I have yet to find my first 64 Kennedy Half out hunting. Congrats on a great find and maybe next time you will find your Seated or Flowing. Good Luck and HH to you.

Nice half. Since you found that coin at only 4" deep you might want to hunt it some more. It might have been "pounded" but maybe not with an explorer.
