Woo-Hoo! I am pretty excited! Just got off the phone with Rusty Henry - Rusty's Detectors in Prescott, and I will be getting one of the first new Sand Sharks! Feels like Christmas! Happy St. Patrick's Day! - Terry

Thank's CSA Ghost! Just ordered my long handled scoop and water shoes. I've been digging gold nuggets in the desert for many, many years, and I am really looking forward to starting to explore beach hunting! Cheers! - Terry

Congrats on the Sand shark! I am on the list for a new Tiger myself! Cannot wait!!!

The new Tiger and Sand Shark are locked in on coil size, that is for sure. Take your pick of two, 8 inch or 10.5 inch, what size did you get? When I bought my Tiger, I just stuck with the 8 inch stock coil, never had any reason to change even though I could. With the current state of cable conectors, I think I would have laid up the cash for the 7 inch coil when I could buy one, but only for the trashy places I run into once in awhile.

Wow! I was talking to Rusty Henry about this very subject just this morning. I am ultimately going to go with Rusty's recommendation, but he has me reading a few articles before giving me his advice. I am going to use this machine along the Atlantic, mostly Long Island, NY, and Long Island Sound here in Westchester. I have zero experience beach hunting, but I have found a few pounds of gold with the Tesoro Lobo SuperTraq over the years in Arizona, New Mexico and California. I'm leaning toward the 8-inch though - Terry
