Welcome Jim. I read your message, then when I read Jasper's, I started laughing. The more I thought about the eye test, the more I laughed. Thanks to both of you for giving me the giggles.

Its always fun finding somewere to hunt ..look in the libary and online to get history ...its a good place to get info on historic events in your area which gives you a good idear were to start searching. but always make sure you get permission first ...best of luck

I think most start in their own yard. I was really surprised at the tools I found in my yard when I tried mine. Try to find the old (OLD) playground at your local school. Lot of blacktop put down at my old school, but there are still a few places there that I played that is still ground. Most people don't know because they didn't go to school there or they are too young to remember. I remember cause I'm older than dirt. Read the forum, these guys will give you ideas.
