Just How Good Is The "Golden Umax/4" Coil Combination??

It turned out to be a great little detector for coin hunting once I adjusted to the myriad of tonal combinations it's capable of . Couldn't handle the too big "OOR" coils though so I stuck a 7" ShadowX2 coil on it. Surprising depth for such a small combination but in trashy enviornments, especially a mixture of ferrous and nonferrous trash, the four individual tones and seemingly endless combinations of tones are a little too much.

.....but the little 4 inch coil on a modified Compadre pulled these out of the local trash pile at the high school this afternoon. Mostly newer coins with a couple of silver dimes and wheats in the mix. Yesterday we took the Compadre/4inch to a small trash-filled area we had "cleaned out" with the new CZ-3D, and pulled out over two dozen more coins. Go figure.......
