Just have to brag a bit!!!!

Our family has just spent 24 out of the last 48 hours at our sons district swimming championships. And our son, Lindsey, really did well this year. His relay team for the 200 yard Medally Relay gets to compete at state, because of winning the district championship. He is their backstroker. In individual events, he was seeded 6th going into the 100 yard backstroke, and ended up 4th after swimming in the finals. He also swam the 100 yard backstroke, and ended up 2nd in that event. He was disappointed that he didnt win, and go to state in that event, but he got a personal best time, lowering his time by 2.5 seconds, which is pretty good. Here are a few photos from today...

he should be proud of himself in getting to go to the state's swimming event. I'm sure he has worked very hard in accomplishing what he has and may God Bless him to continue on striving and winning in swimming and I pray he is also on Spiritual fire for Jesus!

God was proud of Job and bragged to satan about him but satan challenged Him to take His hedge from around him and he would not be faithful but he was and then God gave Job more than he had lost after his protection was gone! Isn't God great?? So, brag on your son and give him praise for the medals he's won and our Lord glory, honor and praise for what He's done for saving our souls to have eternal life!
