Just had a fun non-eventual hunt

As I await the delivery of the used Tejon I ordered from Rich at Backwoods Detectors, figured today because the temps are unusually mild for Jan., I'd go out with the silver umax I bought for my wife. My arm and shoulder were bothering me from swinging the Etrac all day yesterday, so figured it'd be a short hunt. Went to the local ball fields for 2 1/2 hrs. and actually had fun using that little umax machine. Hunted in all metal 'til I got a signal, then flipped into discriminate and thumbed the knob to determine if it was a good or junk target. Afterwards didn't even feel like I was out swinging because of how light that thing is. I know the Tejon is a little heavier but still can't wait 'til it gets here.

The Tejon is a little heavier, but still a feather compared to the etrac! The Tejon is an awsome machine if given the patience to learn it's language. I hope to get one again myself, good luck :tesoro:

Lol, it's a non-eventful hunt typo'd by watching football and forum posting at the same time.
