HI EVERYONE !!! I am new to the site and a owner of the v3i was just wondering if theres any old maps of sheldon new york? I have owned my v3 for 3 months .and would love to tweak some of the setting
for maximal depth..anyone know of some of the settings i should change and posibly what program i should run ? i hunt alot of old farmer feilds and stuff there is pretty deep most of the time from being plowed under for years ..Befor i bought the v3 i owned the whites dfx300 with 12 inch coil ..I have found a ton of stuff with the dfx and hope to do the same with the v3 .Its great i found this site and after reading a few post i know im in the right spot. thanks for taking time to read this..thanks Bill wyoming co. ny

Welcome to the forum Bill and a good place for map information is our Maps Forum: http://www.findmall.com/list.php?69

For tweaking, past posts have tons of info of what some of us use and why.

Welcome Bill. You have come to the right place.

thanks everyone, can't wait to get out in the Field and find a few pieces of history, (some old silver would be nice too)
anyone near Sheldon NY? I really need to figure this machine out and be able to tweak the setting because of some of the old farm land I go to dates back to Earlie 1800 &1700's
and i no for a fact that I'm missing allot. I was out in the Field today but could not spend much time (so no luck today) but theres tomorrow,
After doing some research i found that back in the 1800's there were more houses back in the days than there are now.
So allot of empty Fields that used to be homesteads and mom & pop shops ,schools, small business, breweries, cheese factories, etc
When i figure out how to post pictures i will add some ,i have been hunting for 8 years now and have quite the collection but theres more out there.
thanks everyone...Bill
