Well, the minelab came in the mail yesterday. And I found this ring on my first day out! its nothing too special. But its silver. And I thought it was pretty neat to see a ring pop up with only 2-3 hours of use. Also found loads of clad of course. Mostly dimes and quarters. And even a four leaf clover next to a hole I dug. Im already in love with this machine. I dunno why some people are so intimidated by the minelabs. I learned a few basics. Took it out and was digging right away. yeah, there are loads of tones. But i tuned into the right ones pretty fast. maybe its because I am a musician? And I gotta also say, does this thing have AWESOME depth or what!! wow!

Man, arnt they sweet machines!! I can't wait to take it back out! I have friends with some old property, well old for my town anyway. And I have been waiting to get out there and search with a good machine. You get any good finds with your SE yet? My girlfriend bought the X-Terra 305. It was what was in her price range. So we are both swinging Minelabs. Its great. Good luck hunting with your Explorer!

Ryon I found a Silver Quarter N a 14 K Mens GOLD Wedding Ring with mt Ex II , I know my SE will do the same , Mickfin

recieved my new explorer se pro about two weeks ago used it in the back yard works great, haven't had a chance to go out and use
it at the beach yet because of rain here in San Diego, then went to Las Vegas for the gold prospector & treasures show... going to the beach
tomorrow (saturday) for my first outing with the explorer se pro can't wait....:detecting:

Outdoors Let us know how it gos, Mickfin

Tinkered with it again today. Was learning some more of the tones. Just kinda digging stuff up to see what was under some of the odd sounds. Then I got a silver hit. So I dug it up. Was a broken small sterling chain of some sort. And I wasnt even hunting! So, even though I havnt gone hunting for old silver coins yet. Thats still silver two days n a row!
I can't imagine whats gonna pop up on a full days outing.
Awesome job on the silver and the ring Mickfin!

Outdoors, best of luck! Enjoy the machine! Can't wait to hear about what you find!
