Just got off the phone with Rusty Henry

Rusty called me about a Silver Umax I sent in for repair. He called me on a Saturday to discuss what had to be done to the unit. You couldn't talk to a nicer, more concerned representative of a company than Rusty. This is my third or forth time talking to Rusty over the years. He's one of the main reasons I continue to buy Tesoro machines. If every company operated like Tesoro and had guys like Rusty they'd certainly sell a lot more units. Now if only Tesoro would come out with something new. I'd certainly be in line to buy one.
 
I couldn't agree more. I ordered my Vaquero through Rusty. I could have maybe saved a couple dollars elsewhere, but when I called to ask a simple question and end up talking for a good half hour to him I knew his experience with the machine and with Tesoro would be invaluable, not to mention his ease to talk to. He knew I was fairly new to the hobby but it didnt seem stop him from giving me advice and tips to get started with my new unit. I also received an email from him and he finished by saying "Please, call with any questions". He told me If I had a problem and it needed to go back to Tesoro,....I would call him.....he would receive it.....he would see it gets fixed....he would test it....he would send it back.
A down to earth person who loves what he does.

Rusty is top notch, he fixed a sand shark i bought used, replaced the headphones and tuned it up for FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tesoro is lucky to have him, Im with the need a new model chant.

Rusty is definitely the go to guy when having a question or want to ask him for advice. Once you buy something from him, you are not just a customer, but a friend. He wants the best for you and will make sure things happen in an orderly fashion. I bought my Vaquero from him as well as a 5.75 concentric coil and a extra lower rod. He is definitely the dealer I want to go to for future endeavors
 
Rusty Henry is a great guy for sure. I recently sent him a message along with a picture of the bottom of my coil on a detector that has some cracks in the black epoxy. He emailed me back right away and told me to send it in and he would see that it gets taken care of. He told me to send in the control housing along w/the coil so he could tune/calibrate/etc. everything while it was there. He just called me a few minutes ago telling me that my coil arrived yesterday and his main repair tech. (Carl I believe he said his name was) went home ealry yesterday with some flu bug that is going around. He wanted me to know that it made it there safe and sound and that he would see that it got checked it out from head to toe. I could listen to Rusty talk all day, what a nice knowledgable man. We are all lucky to have such a nice fella taking care of us and lucky to have Tesoro making such great detectors. Hats off to you all at :tesoro:. Steve.

P.S. If your listening Carl, I hope you get feeling better real soon & don't rush on my account as my part of the world is cold with frozen ground.
