I ve used mostly whites products in the past so getting used to these tones is gonna take awhile...pinpointing a little rough to. It is a deep detector ....the first hole i dug i could have buried a football in it. target was a brass hinge at about 10 inch's . I was kinda embarrassed at the size of the hole I dug usually I cut a flap pull the target and move on. But as with anything new I guess there is a learning curve.

yeap, the pinpointing with the gt can be tricky, have to be careful to establish the exact location of the signal maximum before digging, today i also dug a huge hole only to realise the target was a bit to the side, in the wall of my hole. happened to me a few times recently, have to be more careful :look:
congrats on the new machine, i love mine !

I have the same problem with my 10 inch coil. On the beach it is not a problem. I have been using mine for about six months and am getting a little bit better. But at least you can find something.
