Just got my new 505 and have a ground balance question

I have used manual ground balance machines before, with a knob ( Tesoro Vaquero) . What I need to know is am I ground balanced when my machines thresh. does not change when moving the coil up and down? I assume even though this machine has a numeric ID when ground balancing, that the ground balancing principal is the same. I just want to make sure I am doing my settings properly and will get the most out of my machine. Appreciate a step by step guys. the manual tells you how to ground balance but dosnt specify when you know you are.

1. Set sensitivity about 70%.
2. Noise cancel.
3. Find a clear spot(no targets).
4. Go into GB mode.
5. Bobb the coil 1 to 8 inches over ground.
6. The object of the game, like the Vaq is to get no reaction from the ground.
7. While bobbing you will hear 1 of 4 things, a high tone, a low tone, a mixed tone, no tone(nothing).
8. If you are far away(adjustment wise) from a good ground balance either of the tones should be loud in moderate ground. As you adjust in the correct direction the loudness of the tone will go down till either you get weak mixed tones or no tones. Only in mild ground will you get no tone!
9. I will usually adjust past the balance point till I get the opposite tone and then bring it back to the mixed(or quiet) point. By doing this I am sure to find the center or balance point and make a judgment as to how mineralized the ground is.

Thank you for the info, I now realize that I wont always be able to get a quiet response, just find the closest to it.
