and all i can say is what a professional job he does and oh what a difference being able to lower threshold volume and add GB to an already fine detector. And thanks for the Goldfoot coil Mr Bill,i just can't wait to give it a run at the trashy parks when we get some rain and the ground softens to just under concrete hardness and i can dig below an inch without heart palpitations. Thanks again Mr Bill,, Bill(de)

many applications and, I feel, are the best in their class for my needs. But my modified IDX Pro is, and will remain, my primary-use unit that is always loaded in the rig and ready to go.

Enjoy your upscale IDX Pro! Best of success to you on your next trip afield.

Monte

tweak the sensitivity a bit in the discriminate mode. Please let me know what it is like for you.

Enjoy, thanks.

add so much dimension to the Idx.Just the ability to control threshold volume on the all metal side and pinpoint is worth it. Then add the ability to manually GB and BTW the IDX Pro is so easy to Ground Balance with the lower threshold volume you can hear the tonal changes easily to get a neutral, negative or slightly positive GB and i appreciate that ability.I didn't have the Pro long enough to get a true depth comparison before and after but i will say i'm very happy when comparing with the Musky which is somewhat deeper but the IDX is more sensitive to smaller targets and has segmented visual target ID so i'll call it a wash in my book.I'm very happy with your Mods and recommend them to anyone who wants to add that extra dimension to their Whites Classic ID or IDX detector. Thanks so much Mr Bill for helping our hobby. HH Bill (de)

I haven't used a Shadow x5 yet but have an XLT and with the addition of a modded IDX Pro i feel i have so many bases covered and along with these and the Minelab Musky and Sov.GT i feel i'm playing fantasy detectors instead of fantasy football. Can't wait for Rain. I bought the IDX Pro after reading all your posts for the past year or so Monte, and just want to say thanks and concur your opinions on the IDX are so true. Good luck on your trip. HH Bill (de)
