Just got my free copy of 'Mines and Minerals' HystWare from Minelab

Looks like any Minelab detectors purchased during the month of May and June get a free copy. Just got through installing it. Looks pretty interesting. Should fit in nicely with my other research tools. I do wish it included the maps instead of having to link up to terramaps. Luckily I have my own set of topos, but I only have limited overheads so I guess the terramaps over heads will be helpful.

My first time around with the Xterra 70, they weren't offering anything extra. This time around I got the 5x10 coil, plus Ron's freebies, and now a nice piece of research for the same price I paid the first time around. I feel like a bandit :thumbup:

Now to get scrape up some more money to buy that 10.5" DD coil.

Mike... Good for You... Your compete order for the "Special" came in fast. I'm waiting for the elliptical 18.75 prospecting coil that is on the "special." It is still on backorder. (However, all is not lost as I have had access to, and been using an elliptical prospecting coil.)

I have not yet sent in for the free copy by HystWare. However, I have a mail-in coupon; but have not made a copy of my invoice/receipt and do not wish to send in the original.

You also mention Freebies? I thought the special was the freebie. Actually, when I ordered the "special" back in May, I did not know of
the HystWare offer. Such a pleasant surprise... Also, that Minelab is offering different accessory coils for the X-terras.
 
I was just going to get a Xterra 50 and buy the 5x10. Ron gave me a good price on it. But as I reviewed my need, and reviewed his Xterra 70 sale, he had the whole kit there for the price of just the machine. So when I was talking freebies, I was also refering to those items, like the headphones, digger, apron, screen cover, etc. Now when a friend or two wants to come along, which they usually do when I go homesteading or ghost towning, I have everything they'll need to enjoy a nice day treasure hunting.

Hope you get your coil soon.

Mike... thanks for the information. (I'm also waiting for the availability of the elusive small coil for my T-2)
