to the beautiful Southwestern US. It was a fantastic time for our family. Got to see a wonderful part of the country, and had an even beter time just hanging out with the family. We wont be having too many of these times left, with the kids growing up, so every moment is cherished. We spent our time in three National Parks, and one big city. The first park we visited was Bryce Canyon, where we were able to go on a mule ride to the bottom of the canyon and back. The second park was Grand Canyon-North Rim. Pretty cool, but it is almost too big to really appreciate. The final park we visited was Zion N.P. It was truely amazing to see how God sculpted these areas. I put a few pictures in here to show some of the sites that we saw. Oh, the last stop on our trip was Las Vegas, to see some of the sights. I'm not a gambler, but it was pretty fun to walk through the shops of the huge casinos. One of the neat things about our trip, was that we only had to pay for three nights of lodging. The other five nights were provided by my father who has a membership in a resort chain that had resorts near the attractions that we went to. He was going to lose points if we didnt use the resort, so we sort of helped him out in the long road, kinda... So here are a few picts. Hope you dont mind if I post a few more in the days to come.

Here is a little stop we made on the way home. This is one of the remaining buildings from the ghosttown of Rhyolite. It was just north east of Death Valley, and it was HOT! At the time(just after noon), it was 106. Steve might be used to that weather, but not me!

Thanks for looking, and God Bless!

I remember my family trip to the GRAND CANYON LAST FALL! TRULY AMAZING, I WILL NEVER FORGET IT! :) Thanks for sharing those great pics! :)

God can create sculptures far more delicate than man! We were awestruck when we visited Bryce canyon. We hiked down into it then back out.

not quite two when we went through Carlsbad Caverns and saw the Grand Canyon in 1970. She doesn't remember it, but I do!! Loved traveling, camping and having campfires to roast hotdogs and marshmallows. Oh, the memory makes me both happy and sad! I'm too old to do that any more because of my health and etc. but I'm so glad others can take those kinds of vacations like my family were able to do years ago!

May God bless you with the ability and finances to take more trips and be together with your family building memories!

God Bless!
