Just got an MXT. Man, what a detector!

Looks like my retirement is going to be a lot more fun with this baby in my arsenal.

An MXT was/is my first detector. I now have a CZ-20 in addition to the MXT.

I prefer the MXT over the CZ for ease of use and my comfort level in using it. The CZ is my concession to the realities of working around water.

Hi Bottomfeeder,

When I first got my MXT, I really liked it. Then I purchased a Sun Ray DX-1 pinpointer, and like it even better.

The DX-1 has reduced target recovery time a lot. It seem like I have about doubled my finds. BTW the DX-1 will pinpoint deeper than advertised if you crank the gain up to +3 when you switch to probe. I am not employed by, nor do I own stock in Sun Ray, just know the DX-1 is a great accessory.

and have really liked it. A bud and me were relic hunting An were compairing signals with his Blue/Grey and I was getting threashold hums at 12 in on bullets. I also dug a bullet under a nail at 6 in and it told me iron then bullet. Showed both targets. I was impressed. Found my first period cuff zouave button as well from a camp
