Just got a second hand Tejon

I do like the trigger and the dual disc. Just find it hard to enjoy the hunt without tone id.

Give it a couple of weeks, you might end up liking it, plus you'll still be able to dump it if you dont.

Mike....care to trade it in on something you might want? I am going to the GNRS hunt in October, in VA, and if I can't sell it by then, I am sure I can sell it there, provided it's in good to excellent condition.

I thought I might could do a single tone if I tried, but I just can't hang with a single tone. I've gotten so used to the info a tone id sends me that I just don't enjoy it when I don't have it.

You know with tone id I can tell whats under my coil without having look at a meter or play with a disc. Especially on a good one. I'm sure others have learned the Tejon audio well enough to do the same but I'm just not willing to put in that much time on a single tone. If I could of I'd kept one of the Cortes'.

Now the Golden, I can do the Golden. I can swing a Golden for the whole day and be mentally rested. But put me two hours on a single tone and I'm stressed and mentally fatiqued.

No...I'll stay with the Golden and the CoinStrike. That is real pleasure to me.
