Just got a picture from my brother in law in Coldfoot, Alaska...

They woke up this morning to another snow dump. He is an Alaska State Trooper/pilot; in the picture, he is sweeping the snow off his Trooper truck. They recently had temperatures there about 10 days ago of 51 below zero; now its warmed up, and they got more snow. There's about four feet of snow on the ground at this time, and still snowing... I don't miss it!

When we arrived the temperature (wind chill corrected) was -20 degrees. We were walking down the hall of the barracks and talking about how cold it was and a guy was sweeping the hall. He told us they were having a heat wave, we should have been there the week before when the temperature really was cold!!:thumbdown: I just don't know how people can live like that:surprised: Vernon from your picture I think your brother has more snow now than Alabama has had in the past 100 years combined:lol:
