Just got a Garrett Ace 250 I live in Fenwick Island Del. looking for help

Hi just got a metal detector. I am new to this and hear alot about coin beach can anyone help me on where to look for my first hunt

I always thought part of fenwick was off limits... is part of that beach a national park.?. If you live in that area then you know better than me which beaches have been replenished last fall which when I was down there appearred to be the entire state of delaware.. for dry sand hunting you may need to go to oc to have any reasonable chance of finding anything... read the manual , watch your screen , fill your holes and have fun...

If your new to this hobby to will want to get yourself
a good pin pointer like Garretts Pro-pointer. It makes
finding the target in the hole you dug a lot eaiser. I've seen
newbies dig some big holes looking for the target. Not
a good idea if your in a public park.

Hi AsstChief18, You want to hunt between the lifesaving station museum and the inlet. Coins are found all along there. Stay off the dunes that's NOT allowed. You need to go after a storm when the sand is cut away. Good luck with your new ace....
