Hello everyone,
Got a Deus on Tuesday then on Wednesday found out that a field that has produced (morgan, half dime, SC state button, grape shot etc.) was sold. So I am under the gun to learn this machine ASAP. I have two weeks until the deal is closed and ownership transfers. I have read articles, watched many videos on the Deus before even getting this machine but I have a few questions that maybe the pros can assist with.
I am looking for coins, buttons etc. in a field that has grass, some rocks, cows and remnants of the old store. The field was used as a carnival circa early 1900s, early silent movie screening area and had a store dating from the 1800s that was later used as a post office. Hopefully I can take tomorrow off from work and get at it. Thank you for any input and have a good one.

- ...When using the detector yesterday in a park it chattered a lot. Is that due to sensitivity? I was using GP-Maxx
- ...If I make changes to one of the stock programs (reactivity, silencer, etc.) do those changes default back once the control box is turned off?
- ...Ground balancing, is it best to pump or set it manually? If I understand correctly the Deus shows you a calculated setting on the top and the setting the machine is detecting with on the bottom.
- ... Is there a good factory setting (GP Maxx, Relice or Deus Fast) for finding deep coins and buttons that I can use w/o confusing myself with reactivity and silencer settings until I learn them at a later date?
