Thank's to you
Feeling :please:

You people crack me up with all these silly patterns. Learn to use your brain to decide what is an acceptable target.

ok johnny
your last is better :)

@jason : the CTX can help us for selection, why not use the max of this machine,no ? ? or take a ACE 150 in all métal if your prefer no sélction :)) LOL

Using the max of the machine is finding those deep silvers buried among the iron trash. THAT is what it does best. But regardless of what type of target you are hunting you will NEVER find as much as if you are using an almost completely open pattern. Lots of conditions cause FE numbers to vary beyond those "perfect" numbers. Opening up your accepted area will allow you to see more targets in the "good zone". That is why I say to learn to use your brain to decide what targets to dig. More masking = less goodies.

yes, i am ok with this, and i anderstand

realy some the closed or open patern hide some "pixel finess" beetwen ... i see that when i push patern2 (all metal) on target limit masked...
it's a feeling détection :)

feelingFR It sounds like you just want to play around with the settings on max discrimination with just the bare minimum open screen for finding just GOLD. Maybe start with 100% total discrimination and open it up little by little. I think you will find that depending on what you mean by "gold ring" that you will eventually have to eliminate most of the discrimination up to around 35CO line -as most gold rings' conductive signals can vary greatly depending on size and/or depth.

But either way please post how you set up the detector and what targets were used for testing and let us know which settings worked best for you!

Hi,
With the motif behind, i test with 50 tones Ferreux (metal)...
its limit for have de différence
but it's posible with a lot of sons in head mémory....

Open is the only way to go, why miss great targets? I don't get it. With the above patterns I would have missed some of my best finds. To each its own.
