my wife was sitting outside with her laptop playing games and she said grab your xterra and hunt around our yard. I said honey I have went over this yard a million times, there is nothing left here. Boy I was wrong! The very first target I got I thought I had a dime, nope it was a ring!

No one has lived in this house except my family. My dad built it in 1973, I grew up here, they moved out 3 years ago, I sold my house in town and moved back here with my wife and son. So someone from my family lost this ring, just do not know who? It was about 4" deep. What a surprise, first ring of the year from my yard

Great story and find! I hunted the front yard of my old home site for 15 years. It was built around 1900. The front yard is about 150 x 150 ft. Every single time I hunted I found something. My best was a 1864 2 cent piece at 8 inches under the Maple tree.

Nice find! Last week I found a very small band on the patch of grass between the sidewalk and the street in my front yard, a place that I ck 10 times over and 5" down there it was.
