I have a thing for Surfmaster yellow (plus its high viz when in the mine). Hope to hit the lane this weekend to make a test run. If you have any other suggestions please let me know. I'm sure I'll be "tweeking" it as I go. Thanks once again for posting all of the pics.

If you work in the waves, u need to add a safety string to your headphones
see pics

BUT THIS IS ONLY IF U WORK IN THE BIG WAVES WHERE YOUR HEADPHONES GET WASHED OFF YOUR HEAD MANY TIMES A DAY.

THE HEAD PHONE PLUG IS THE SAME PLUG USED IN THE COIL WIRE - IT NEEDS RELIEF.

those bolts might pull right through the web belt with the weight of the Excal and battery because the are small. Fender washers would work if you can find them in stainless steel or coat them with a paint so they don't rust.

A "I wanna be a whites PI Pro" yellow color ! :)

Hi, I am curious about the way your coil cable is attached to the shaft. I see that yours just goes strait up the shaft and is not wrapped like other photos I have seen with the Excal. Does that work better? I just thought they had to be wrapped around the shaft. Thanks Dennis in Idaho

you need the extra length of coil wire to go from the hip to the shaft, that's why it is not wrapped around the shaft.
