Nice to see folks still out and about. When the snow hits I usually switch over to practicing outdoor skills such as rabbit snaring, making fires with local natural materials, bush craft type stuff. Not saying that I'm the cats meow at it all, but practice makes better.
:)
On my last romp I grabbed a huge chunk of petrified wood and found a cool marble in a washed out creek bank. I was also watching a mink grab his sucker supper.

The mink is pretty cool, but the Ice Spider in the bottom photo is scary.

Outstanding!

I had an old timer tell me about coming upon an otter that was fishing a hole, he stood behind a tree and just watched that otter catch a walleye and bring it up on the bank and go in for another...the old guy said he would go and take the otters fish when the otter went back under water. Did it time after time with the otter not knowing what was going on! Said he limited out on big walleye! Probably was lying, but I liked the story..
Glad you got outside, and shared your day with us!:clapping:

Great pictures. Wonderful outing, for sure. Guess there are other things to do then follow a detector around. Nice! HH jim tn

Seeing creatures go about their business is really entertaining. Thanks for the pics!

The Otterland YouTube videos are going crazy now. Over 4 million hits showing this guy with a stick and a flying saucer at the end of it. The guy states that metals can be heard from it, but the Otterland Air Force denies the technology. General Otter Van Fisher states, "Who would want silver when fish are the treasure?". Just another UFO..."Unidentified Fishing Object"

Great pics of the mink! Love it!!

Thanks for the comments everyone. The mink pics were terrible because I had the wrong settings on the camera and I hate reading those little guides.
