Just dug my 103Rd nickel this season.

Got a yearly goal of 500 or better. In the last 3 seasons I've averaged 1 gold ring per 130 nickels. Maybe I'm getting close to ring #1 this year. The AT Pro & the Infinium have been real nickel hounds. But you got to hunt, and put in time, learn your machines.
A lot of luck doesn't hurt either. I mostly hunt dirt, but did get 3 wading last year.

103 nickles already WOW that is a lot of nickles. I find more quarters than anything else followed by pennies, dimes with very few nickels. I'm not hunting enough in all metal and missing the 5 cent coins I will guess. I will be watching for your nickle count when you find the first Ring of this year.

So.....how many pulltabs? lol :detecting:
Tabs?

Dan, was beach / wade hunting sanded in Florida beach for 2 months this winter. Quit counting at 800, it was bad. Four other guys plus me, 0 for gold.

Now if only they could have been gold rings:rofl: That is just a super count for nickles. One can only imagine how many pull-tabs got in your way.
