I have a Garrett book showing the different detectors ,coils and things, My question is you see the exact same coils but for different machines and different prices so what makes them worth more money if they are all the same coil.
 
[size=large]they won't be the same coil. might be wound differantly for differant freqs. if the part number is the same then it's the same part. since it's a product it may be due to supply and demand. you really need to read the fine print and be very sure of what the one coil does the other doesn't. imagining coils for instance vs non-imaging. i would agree that some don't seem differant enough to justify the increased cost over another. but that may just show what i don't know.
