Just brought in this nickle sized flower & took a shot with....

produce the black color background? What settings did you use? Thanks for sharing. Kelley (Texas) :)
 
on the counter with a clothespin so that the sun was hitting the flower and the shadows were behind the flower to make a dark background. 1/500th second f7.1 iso 400 hand held manually focused.
