Got a great deal from Kellyco with lots of extras. I wanted an F-70 and the time was now. Kellyco was my local dealer when I lived in Fl. It is not just a store, but a museum with a great bunch of MD'ing enthusiasts. I know Wanda and I talked about Md'ing sites and shared stories for half an hour. She knows her MD'ers and is a good person to do business with.
You'll see my finds with pictures. The same goes for the rest of you. I like seeing what you all get. It seems like every part of the country has a different selection of things. I don't get the colonial coins, but the IH's are pretty common. I know I won't dazzle you with jewelry. I get an occasional Minnie. With a detector that will go deeper than the one I had, I will try a CW encampment 10 miles from my house. I didn't want to go to all the trouble to get permission if I didn't have a detector that couldn't get down to the loot. I MD old houses, caches, CW and an occasional cave looking for some lost loot. Oh yea, I have a sluice and do a little panning when I visit my sister in NC. I have never had the aid of a MD'er in looking for gold.
I am a MD'ing fanatic with a budget. I will learn the F-70 and stick with it for a long while.
