Just bought an Excal 1000

No problem. I remember when I used mine for the first time I thought I made a big mistake as I couldn't tell what the sounds were telling me. I soon learned only the iron was not responding and to dig all the other sounds and I soon learned more.

good Luck and enjoy the new toy.:detecting:

Thanks... that is what I have been told, dig every sound and go real SLOW AND LOW.

Can't wait to get it and take it out for the 1st time. I will have to go to some local lakes here and need to set up a trip to the coast some where and hopefully hunt with someone that has an Excal 1000 so they can give me some tips.

Mike

I suppose that will be me, huh Mike? If you do what I have told you, then you will be in good shape mate!
