Just bought a nice CZ70 Pro

Won an Ebay auction for a really nice machine. It looks almost new. I air tested a dime at Ground and Sensitivity both at 10 and got just over 10 inches. I got a full 11 inches on a quarter. This was in my house where there was plenty of EMI, so maybe it would go deeper away from EMI. One thing I noticed right away was that I could run sensitivity all the way to 10 without any falsing. This seems odd for a 102 machine - no?

Reese, I'm NO GURU on CZ's by any means, but I'm sure Pa. Dan and some others will CHIME In!! I still have my CZ -70Pro, even though I have not used it in a Long Time!! But, I
will not sell it, because of the LIFETIME Warranty to Original Owner!! Anyway, best of my Knowledge and Experience, You have to run the 70Pro at 4 Sens. and at BEST
6 Sens., because of FALSING ISSUES!! Try it in the DIRT Outside, and see how HIGH you can RUN Sens. Best of LUCK, Les Robinson

Well I certainly learned my lesson! Took it to the dirt and had to turn it down to 6 Sens to be able to use it! i was at an older home where there was lots of iron. I probably should have turned it down to 4.

Thanks for the reply.

Many CZ70 pro's cannot be used with sens. over 4 but most will run quiet at 6.......indeed running them at a sens. of 10 is odd and not the usual.
Practice the bobbing method and it should serve you well...Glad someone made out on E-bay as every day I hear of fellows getting ripped off with poor condition detectors...Do your testing in the field where you hunt...not in your home as too many interference issues...
