Would like to hear from Cibola user's what they like or dislike and any advise for a new user. Whats with the fine tuning,do you lose your pinpointing capabilities? I use to have a Silver Sabre. Thanks Ron

yes you do lose pinpointing in supertune, but the coil is so good at pinpointing you dont need it anyway.i find depth very good on even small finds.

I haven't found anything reaal deep yet, but you'll love the lightweight and accuracy. I rarely use the pinpoint button because this machine is dead on!!!! It's also great for competition hunts.

I love my cibola! I also use a CZ 5 and after getting used to the Tesoro the CZ fells like a brick(it is about a pound heavier) . I have found some deep stuff with my cibola. The pinpoint is not near as good as my CZ but the lite weight made up for it. It is a great all around machine. I rarely dig nails which is nice and I can hunt longer with out fatigue. I think my CZ has a little better depth but I dig a lot of nails with it . I think the cibola is the best on the market for the money. Good luck and HH. :beers: :usaf:

Just received the Cibola yesterday went to a park that has a coin spill of pennies I'm cleaning up.Monday the CZ was used after a couple of hours found 73 coins 1 wheat and 80's nickle. Yesterday took the Cibola found 78 pennies in about 2 hours all were at a depth of 1-2 inches never finished cleaning the spill. The Cibola with the stock 8x9 seemed to pinpoint very well without using the pinpoint mode.I did use a White's Bullseye 11 pin pointer. This coin spill gave me a chance to work with the Tesoro and see how well it pinpointed the separation with the 8x9 is a little better than the CZ7A 8 inch. There's a competition hunt in Milan Michigan tomorrow and I'm bring both the CZ and Cibola. At this point I think the Cibola will be used, even though I've only used it once. HH Ron

I used my Cibola at our club hunt last week and did great!!! The machine is very crisp and suffered no interference from others. You'll do well with it.
