Just bought 10 and 3.5 inch coils for my 1265x

First post. have had a 1265x for about 16 years, but did not use it much. Now hunting beaches in Switzerland with 8 in coil and getting lots of coins, very low trash environment.

Got the new (to me) coils on the fleabay, and wondered how much extra depth I get with the 10 inch coil?

Not sure what i'll use the 3.5 for, but nice to have.
 
Easy 2-3" or more Drop the DISC and Jack the Sens up dig the faint ones, One of my best machines, used it for years and still do just had it redone by fisher its like new. Almost as good as the 1270.
 
Thanks for the info. I do really love the 1265, but it does love the iron, especially hairpins!
