About a 4 hour hunt resulting in 13 quarters..15 dimes..2 nickles..11 pennies..one dog tag and a silver ring with 6 little diamonds, which will be confirmed latter this week..The ring was completely black when I found it it looks like its been around in the sand for a long time, is quite small but very nice..Thanks for looking. All of these found with my Minelab GT. Have a great day hunting your favorite spot...

I had an expert(my wife) look at it and the response was favorable. I don't really care what it is because I worked hard to find it, first ring ever with any chance of being the real thing..It's all in the hunt not in what is found. Boy thats BS isn't it?..anyway have a great day I'm going to try and get a better picture of the ring today some time..thanks for looking..

Most will test it then and thar! Then you will know.

Even if the silver ring is not the real deal, there's one around the bend just waitin' for ya!

Thanks for sharing.

I have been hunting the same beach almost everyday this summer and have only come up with one gold toe ring. The beach is only a mile long between jetties, and with high tide the cut changes almost every day. That being where I have found most of the items. I know it will come. Thanks for the hint of taking the jewlery to a pawn shop. My wie has a friend who has a jewlerey store (where she is proabably very much in debt) and will take the ring to be checked along with a heart I found.. How much are gem testers? Thanks for looking..

Thanks Pa Pa Joe..we don't have the large numbers of people on the beach and much less in the water due to the chilly conditions. Only children and surfers in the water and they don't have much gold..You can go into the ocean in Florida, people need sun screen and then head for the water with greasy fingers thus losing rings which you find. When I move to the Beach in southern Mexico, maybe next year, my luck will change.. Warm weather and lots of tourists to donate valuables all year long..Thanks for your encouragement and happy hunting.
