The Photo Contest was originally scheduled to end at midnight today, but I extended it two weeks because some folks were occupied with weather related problems or other problems which prevented them to have the time to take a few pictures to enter in the Photo Contest.
Also, please review all the entries so that you will be able to send me your choice by Private Message of who you feel submitted the best entry. Remember, you folks will determine the winner, not me.
This is our very first Photo Contest and might be a basis for future Photo Contest if you folks decide that you want to have another one. The winner of this Photo Contest will have the option of conducting the next Photo Contest, set to his rules and conditions. The winner should decide if he wants to conduct the second Photo Contest within two weeks of being declared the winner. If he elects not to conduct the second Photo Contest, the honor of conducting the second photo contest will be given to the first person that wants to do step up to the plate and take charge.

Lets be reminded that the Photo Contest is something new for our Forum and is designed as a fun event. We have never had a photo contest before and this is a learning process, and it appears that the duration of the photo contest was too short, thus the extension. When the ending date was announced, we did not know that we would experience severe storms and major flooding that would possibly prevent some members from being able to participate, nor did I stop to think that there were other circumstance that could prevent member participation because of the short duration of the photo contest.
Hopefully this adjustment to the rules of our first photo contest will encourage and enable more participation. Lets have some fun. Kelley (Texas)
