I put a couple of coils up for trade yesterday and I keep getting hits from people who just registered---they don't even have one post on any of the forums here-could be the same guy--one guy sent me a couple of emails with different addresses and names and when I asked him whats up with that he dodged the question--that raised a big red flag for me and then he would'nt even call me when I sent him mt phone number---I realize we all are new to begin with and do need a chance to build up referances and trust but not on my nickel---so I've pulled my coils off for now---I have'nt been burned yet and I don't plan on it either---Buyer-Seller-Trader Beware---

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.
Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.
Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.
Only Forum Members Registered for 90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.
Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:
- Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
- Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
- Do not put links to eBay.
- Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
- Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.
Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

is that this ain't rocket science. Forum members are selling and the same guy using different registered names is trying to jack people around. If you're selling something, the worst that this *&$%# can do is say he'll take it and payment is sent when it isn't. As long as no one sends the merchandise before receiving payment, he only costs you time and anticipation that the payment is actually coming when your gut should be saying it isn't. Trust your gut, not your hope that you're selling something that you need to get rid of and maybe need the money from the sale. It's simple...don't deal with anyone that's not well established. Assume that your item ISN'T sold until you get a response from someone that is a well established member of the forum. It's this guy's M.O. to prey on folks hopes of sales. Don't give him the satisfaction!
