Just A Flower............

This flower came from a neighbor's yard yesterday morning and I have no idea what it is other than I thought it was beautiful.

I took the picture with my Sony NEX-6 camera using a vintage 1979 Minolta MD Macro 35-70mm F3.5 lens. I used the Macro setting of 1:4 on the lens for the first time with the camera settings of F8, 1/100, ISO 200, "Daylight" white balance, Manual Focus, Manual Mode. The sky was overcast. Thats a really nice picture, the main 2 colours blue and green work well together, just shows what a camera lens 35 years old can still do.

You can purchase them on eBay or on Craig's List at bargain prices. The only disadvantage are being manual operated, but with practice, you can master how to use them. You do need an adapter to be able to use them, my adapter cost eleven dollars. Thanks for viewing the picture. Kelley (Texas) :)

Very pretty, nice balance of colors.....nge
