Just a bit of Bragging if y'all don't mind

Tonight Zach's team, The Sullivan East Patriots Freshman baseball team took the confrence championship. They fought their way through the tournament by winning 6 straight teams before meeting unbeaten Science Hill Hilltoppers. Science Hill had beat them 3 times during the regular season while going into the final championship game perfect 15 and 0 on the season. The boys came to play and beat them 11 to 6. Zach ended up the season with a 489 batting average, didn't strike out the entire regular season and led the team in batting as starting DH. I'm proud of those boys and espically Zach. They were truely a team, worked together and were all for one the whole way. Here's a pic of Zach in a game where he went 4 for 4 with 1 walk, this was his last hit in the game that went to the right field wall bringing in 2 RBI's. Sorry for the rambling but them boys killed a giant tonight. I hate the season is over but summer ball is right around the corner.....Flipper out

My nephew, We have cared for him since 2 weeks after birth. He's truley been a blessing to our lives. I've been fortunate to have him. He turns 16 in a few weeks and has lived with us the entire time. His parents wouldn't let us adopt him, why I don't know but he is like a son to Becky and me. He was a great kid that has grown into a fine young man. So you ask if he's my son, yes we do consider him our son, It may not be legal in the eyes of the law but it is what it is and no one can change that.
