Hello Everyone,

New to the Forum. Based in the UK. Currently using a T2. Have been for about 5 years now. I am planning to get a new machine and am pondering over a tesoro brand which seem to be well built reliable machines to own and use. Can anyone suggest a machine to go for and also any advice would be warmly appreciated

Regards and Good Hunting wherever you are

Welcome Catty, I think the outlaw would be a great unit to have and it comes with extra coils , HH hank

First off a big welcome to the forum mate, there are some great guys on here that are verry knowlagable and that will give you some great advice and help.
The Deleon is a Laser Hawkeye, it's an OK detector. I don't think that it's as good as the Vaqeuro (Trident 2) or the Lobo Super Traq. I found it to be a bit choppy noisy when detecting on many of the fields that i detect on, the screen id was a bit lets say not worth having and leave it at that.
The Outlaw is based on the old Bandido, a Laser B1 springs to mind here. Part Silver sabre and part Bandido and both great detectors in there time but things have moved on.
Your T2 has the edge on our ploughed fields over the Tesoro range including the Tejon and Lobo st and Vaqeuro.

If your searching for Celtic Roman or Medieval coins the T2 will find them.
Tesoro detectors will also find them, my personal favorite Tesoro is the Lobo Super Traq and that has found me many great things but if i had to search a pasture field i would not grab the Lobo over the T2.
Sorry you Tesoro guys i tell it as i see it and in the UK on plough land and on pasture fields the T2 wins.

Phinbolt has done great with the Deleon , defiantly a master of the machine! So many great machines to choose from, Tesoro builds some of the best ! HH tigerhank68

Hi Catty,

To answer that question, it sort of depends on what types of places you plan to hunt and what you are really hunting for.

Let us know so we can make some better suggestions.

Hello Guys

Thanks for the valued advice.

I would be searching different land types. One week it could be pasture the next week ploughed. I have had some success with the T2 but I just felt like a change as at the moment I am going through a bit of a drought with the finds!!! I dont look for any one specific type of find, although I do like hammered coins when they turn up.

Cheers

Hi,

T2 is grat machine too. I am going Tesoros analogs, and change a TV style from digital number maker to tesoro clear sound, in majority one tone machines with moderate sound only, in could be tough for you, in respect. Number of my friend did not survive it and they have moved back to display digi machines. On the other hand, depth has missed them and they speaking about it open still...

God luck in choice!

regards
