I went detecting for the first time since being sick last week and the water was cold but clear and flat... I found 3 junk rings today and the best find was the Indianhead penny along with what I believe is a mini-ball... Penny is 1866... Not too much trash either and that is a good thing when you use a PI :)

Was out last week with a A tear of the meniscus in my left knee and then on Friday I came down with the flu and have been sick as a dog ever since.
 
Get better soon David... I have the same problem with my right knee :( and an added bonus my Achilles tendon in my left foot is shot :) I wonder if I could get a fiberglass walker for the water :)
 
I have a pair I use in lakes 1,000 gr thinsolate was tempted to try but the waves are just too much where I hunt. will have to wait for the warmer weather!! MY LAKE WILL BE OPEN NEXT WEEK !!! CANT WAIT!!
