Junk yard Bob strikes again.

NH Bob

New member
Pattern #1 with only -8 knocked out.
Threshold at just audible.
Auto GB.
SEN. 26 bordering on falsing.
The quarter came in at 42 as expected and depth was measured at 4".
The Large no date came in at 42 and depth was a measured 8".
The Injun came in at 30 and depth was measured at 4-5".
Some ground conditions don't allow me to enjoy good coppers. Yet others are fine. Great fluctuation in soil conditions in my area.
Also reground Bal. according to falsing, thats why I run Sen. near Max.
Till next time Bob.

I'm just doing small areas that I find while riding around. Frost has delayed the digging of some signals.

I get the same probs with coppers over here Bob. The ground minerals seem to give them an absolute hiding. When we do get a good one on the goldfields its a good day.
Cheers.

I have a hard time finding good coppers. This is an example of 75%of my field finds.

This is a back yard find at an old homestead.

I've always said location dictates what your finds are going to be.
In some areas a Mercury Dime is old. That would be a great find for them. Look at Bavaria Mike. He can find 1000 yr old coins because of LOCATION and determination. Each find made by every individual on this forum is just as important as finding a Gold nugget or an 1803 Large cent. We would all like to find Gold but that's not reality.
