Junk jewelery

Thound

New member
I've got tons of the stuff. What do yall do with it? Any value? Tempted to just throw it away. Thanks and HH

Another idea....Go to one of those resale shops that sell used items (not just jewlery) and ask the owner if they can show your stuff in their display case.

Garage Sale!!! Or use them as give-aways to kids at a garage sale. That way, you can find it again when THEY lose it

Had a friend that used his junk jewelry to decorate minature christmas trees (he'd make a "tree" from a small spruce or fir branch, nail that branch to a small piece of wood which he had covered with some green or red felt.) He then sold these trees as christmas decorations and did quite well at it. I always gave him my junk jewelry to add to what he found - I thought his little enterprise was kina neat but I'm too lazy to put forth that effort. After my friend quit detecting, I donate my stuff to a bunch of ladies at the local senior center to use as craft supplies. I have no idea what they do with it.

Some good ideas here thanks. I like the one about pirates but have no young kids. And I've lost my eyepatch.

I say bury it in different locations and let some other hunters get there thrill in finding it!

My wife does some art work with it and manages to sell it. You can sell it on etsy at a better price the you'll ever get on fee bay. Etsy caters to artists and you can set up an account and sell them in lots as "found objects". There are artists who love this stuff. That's what we do with what she doesn't use.
