Granted, this is not the best pic...but I thought it was worth posting....We watched Momma Robin build this nest in almost less than 2 days and then sit on the eggs and hatch these little guys. We watched her faithfully find worms and insects to feed her brood. Her instincts were amazing...She beat up every crow, black bird, Jay, and anything that even got close. ...This was all within a month or less...The entire experience was truly an amazing gift of nature!! It does really test ones belief in a Supreme Being!!! Enjoy!
P.S. They all tested their new wings tonight! It was really neat to see! Momma Robin had tears in her eyes!

we have a couple robin nests at our place in Roscommon but they are not even nesting yet. Late season.
Last year the dam Jays ate all the babys before they even got that big.
Nature is fun to watch and a camera brings it all the closer

How is that Nikon working out after you had it repaired?

Rick, it's still on "loan" to NIKON!...They told me it will be 6 to 8 weeks before I get it back. It's been about 6 weeks now. I'm okay with that since I only had about 2 weeks or so before the warranty expired. I pretty much lucked out on that...Just under the wire. I know it would have cost me a small fortune if I'd had to pay for repairs myself.
