Hit a spot today that I usually hit once a year. It's small, very trashy & also is a favorite fishing hole. I used my VLF Garrett Beach Hunter AT3, as the Infinium would just constantly sound of on all the trash. I had to use some discrimination at this place.

Here's the rings. It started raining after about 1 1/2 hours into the hunt. There were some people fishing nearby, but I was the only one catching things.

Below is a gold chain I got. The end link which is usually stamped to define the gold k was missing, so I will have to get it tested. It's probably 10K......

Alright!:bouncy:Nice hunt!:detecting:Congrats on the gold and silver!:beers:
Yeah, I wish Garrett would still make a VLF water machine. Even a wader.
Thanks for sharing!:thumbup:Happy Hunting!:)

Hmmm. I'd like to find that much gold and silver in one hunt just one time in 2010. Nice stuff, John. You must get acid test kits for gold and silver. For 50 bucks, give or take, you can test your own stuff. How much does the cain weigh? Looks like a clunker.

Good hunt John !

Awesome finds!! Just a good example of why we need to have different machines. Some are much better choices for certain applications. Also shows that it doesn't really mattler how old a detector is as long as it is taken care of and still works. Way to go, and ps I also wish Garrett would come out with a water machine, even if they just made a completely waterproof version of the Ace250 I think that would be wonderful. HH

Good job dude!!!! What frequency does that machine operate at? Curious.
