July 4th Relics

Finally after several months got to go civil war relic hunting. I noticed the other day the field had been cut so I had to go. I hunted for about 2 and a half hours and had a really good day. I have a whatsit that I need identifying also.

Lots of goodies - I have a few whatsits just like yours also so am hoping someone can ID it. You sure got a bunch of 3 ringers, Steve in so la

turn knob for an old lantern. I have found many over the years. Look closely at the short side as they often have pat dates on them.

Thanks for the id Mike. I left when I had just started to really find the lead. I told Liz I would be home around 12 so now I can't to get back to that spot.

Like everyone else, I have a big bucket of 'Whatit's'. Nice hunt. I'll get out one of these days.
