J uly 2014 was a great month. Even though I wasn't able to go out d etecting as much as in previous months due to extremely hot weather and Family comitments, I still managed to find 118 US coins and my second silver find this year (a hummingbird pendant).
The 118 US coins found this month break down as follows;
Clad Quarters 16 = 13.6%
Clad Dimes 20 = 16.9%
Nickels 6 = 5.1%
Cents 76 = 64.4%
Of the cents, 34 were copper and 42 were zinc.
Everything considered, July was a great month.
HH to you all.

Walt thats a bunch of coins probably my lifetime total! Great job. You spent a lot of time in the military, thank you.

Way to go Walt! You should just about have that 3500 paid back by now......LOL

I have messed up my right elbow.....torn tendons.....so I have not even hunted once in nearly 2 months. I've even removed the batteries from my units for now. MISS IT TERRIBLY!!! Gonna try to find a surgeon to see about getting things repaired.

HH y'all.

Most of them are clad, granted. However, it adds up and helps to finance my hobby.
As far as my time serving in the US Air Force, I was proud to serve my country and would do it again.
