Got out to the beach 2-hours before low tide - Finally! Holy Crap - does ANYBODY on Long Island take a driver's test?! Accidents to the right, left and center! Hunted from 930am to 2pm, and had a freakin' Blast! Saw Greg again and three other guys that I didn't approach (they looked pretty busy). Overcast with peaks of sun on the water and beach, sparse crowds. Lots of targets at the water line today - Attack of the Bobbypins! I dug one at at least 18", and I cussed like a sailor! Two-minutes later I got the silver hoop. All in all not a bad day. Couple of hoops, a Loius Vuitton lock, neat multi-piece earring and some clad. I'm learning and loving my Sand Shark, and that first gold ring is getting closer to my coil!

Looks to me like you were darn sure trying for the gold. Keep on working like that and it will come. Nice Hunt.

Terry, everytime I see a new post from you I'm taking a look, thinking you hit some gold today. Your definately putting in the time, look forward in seeing your first Sand Shark Gold.

Hi Terry I too just got a Sand Shark with the smaller coil and I love it , you can swing all day and not get tired, I put it under the elbow, still looking for gold myself it is frustrating when you thing you have a good signal and it a bobby pin or a junk earring well lets hope for the best.

Hey Goodmore, Bcoop, and John! Thank you all! John, WAY COOL! Isn't it a GREAT machine? The more I use it, the more I love it! When I saw the gold of the Loius Vuitton purse lock, I thought I was in the gold! I got so excited for a second! But the Silver hoop earring did make me give out a little whoop! I'm going to get that first ring SOON. I can feel it!
