Haven't posted on this site in a while. Come here all the time to look but not posting much. Well I ordered my E-trac yesterday. I hope I can learn the machine.

Lot's of good posts here to help me out so we will see how it goes.

Have a great day.

woohoo congrats buddy its an awesome piece of gear!!!!

I just ordered my E-Trac (and Andy's book) from NED yesterday as well. I purchased it specifically for hunting old silver and can't wait until it comes in. I'll definitely be perusing this forum and soaking up as much info on the E-Trac as I can.

You're going to love it...it is a really good detector. Take your time to learn its sounds and numbers by digging everything at first. It won't take long before you know what's good and what's not.

Don't forget to post pictures of all the great stuff you find. Good luck and happy hunting!

Hey ME!

It is the most awesome machine for finding zipper pulls!

Seriously, you will love it. Coming from the exlorer you will tune in so fast. I came from a Quattro and the transition was probably a little longer, but so worth it.
Congrats.

Mark

Your going to love it. :yo:

I too have just joined the etrac club. My new machine will arrive Thursday. I've been hunting with a dfx and although I've had some good finds with it, I've also had a lot of frustration. I'm looking forward to seeing what the etrac will do. I have some new sites lined up for hunting and am really chomping at the bit. It's been raining cats and dogs here for what seems like a month and I'm getting stir crazy!! Any advise from you experienced etrac owners to a newbie? I'll be looking mainly for civil war relics on some of my sites and old silver and coins, with a good possibility of colonial items, on another.
Thanks in advance,
Brad
