Hello, Can anyone identify this piece of flattened aluminium. It appears to have John Walker & Sons on it. When it was opened out a bit a mixture of porcelain or crockery and glass fell out of it. One piece of the porcelain/crockery has a hole it it that another piece fits into like a plug .

Whiskey Bottle cap
 
Don't know or drink any Walkers ink but I have Johnny Walkers whiskey.

Lead bottle collars have been around for a long time. I have one from a shipwreck from 1909.
