joey coil for e-trac

relicnut

New member
just picked up a joey coil.wondering if any body has any experiance with this coil going to use it coin, and relic hunting.any feedback would be appreciated.:detecting:

The Joey coil is a good coil & I liked it.--I used it for several years--It seperates targets pretty well & gets fair depth for a coil of that size.---HOWEVER, when the 6X8 SEF came out, I purchased it & sold my Joey coil & haven't looked back.---It (6X8 SEF) "trumps" the Joey hands down.---At least for me & in the areas I hunt.---This is JMHO, others may well have different views------Del

Ive got the 6x8 sef also, don't use it a whole lot,but i got the joey at a good price so i couldn't pass it up:biggrin: seems that the joey is really stable, and iam one of those persons that think thay need every coil that is available for the machine I'm using:minelab:

I've got the Joey, really good coil, excellent seperation and very good depth.

I've never used the 6x8 SEF to compare though.
