Joe - W O T falses badly in the surf - sunday i tried one of charles tips

i cut the threshold off or back to lower setting for silent............still falsed some, but when it hit a target u really could tell it

i am going to try and set the gain back some tonight and experiment at home with it

B U T it is much better..............maybe 75% better now

sensitivity is about 15..................i tried 17 but seemed worst - still deep

LOOKING FOR FEED BACK FROM ANYONE ON THIS AS WELL

I know what the problem is. It's your armcup. You need to take it off of there. And attach it to an Excalibur with a 10" coil! :rofl:

Seriously though...I wouldn't expect the WOT to be the best choice for working in the water. Seems like it would meet with way too much resistance.
 
Hmmm...not sure. My first thought was titanium, but I checked an identical looking titanium band that I have and it came up 10-06. If it were gold or platinum it would almost certainly be marked. Better ask a jeweler and see what they say.
