Sherry and I volunteered (through our church) to spend 4 hours ringing bells for the Salvation Army and we had a great time - though a little tired of the jingling of the bells (just had those sleigh bells - not the hand bell to ring).
There were lots of donations and many kids waving at Santa who was ringing bells.
Came home and got comfortable and realized that my left leg had swollen up like a beach ball - the leg I had the DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis, i.e. clot(s) in). Guess prolonged standing is not a good thing so sitting here with my leg propped up on pillows to help relieve the swelling. Sherry measured the calf and it is 50 centimeters compared to my right leg that is 42 centimeters. Looks bigger than it sounds. There is no pain so that is a good thing.
Oh well had a great time today anyway.
